I'm not saying FFVII was a great game. Yet, the sales in PSX's double after the realease. This was due to many "Fanbased" people showing off the games CG quality graphics. The also large list of more public oriented hits helped keep them afloat. The CDI failed on the level of price over reality. The PSX while still high priced had a little bit more reasonable factor. This was also about the time Wal-mart started kicking into it's more fully functiong gaming sections. It wasn't uncommon to go to Wallyworld and see a Saturn and PSX hooked up side by side. The n64 ...well that's in it's own little world I like to think. |

I've always felt to never clump the 64 into the scheme of psx and saturn. The n64 is a great system and had a nice if a little lacking on the lineup scale. It's like comparing Metroid with Half-life and Halo...yea there all First-person shooters in essence, but ol'Met be something that comes touches your heart in a different way.. http://www.classicgaming.com/reviews...d/alexkidd.htm Anyone remember Alex... Just think of a 2007 release of him. I still want to see a new "LandStalker" game. |

I love how they use Victor Ireland quotes. That guy will take any opurtunity he can to slam Bernard Stolar. No one liked Stolar back then. But Ireland was way over the top.

What happen to WG? The last game they released was Growslanser:Generations. They've always seemed to make small, but choice drops into the gaming line-ups. Yet, lately there's almost dead. http://www.gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=5403 - Ha.. Well, it's not a new Landstalker game, i found this slightly funny. I know Climax lost SF to Sega, but don't know if LS wentwith it or not. Golden Sun is or was there main bad-boy now. |

hm, the N64... its lineup is just too much lacking, IMO. It has a few amazing games, but they're really a few. If I look at Saturn/PS/N64, the N64 really had the least impressive lineup. As for the Saturn, it's amazing, but many of its games were ported to the PS and later some to PC. |

I've read this article about Dcast some time ago, really poor judgement from Sega's executives if it was true: Quote:
