if you like minish cap, i'd suggest you get zelda: link to the past as I think it's a better game. Though you may already be emulating the snes version of that game. Advance wars 2 has come out already. If you like tactics ogre, why don't you try final fantasy tactics advance as well (expensive tho). Harvest moon is actually a very good fit for a portable system, but it's a sims like game where you grow crops, tend to livestock and try to get married. I find it very amusing, but you may not. Astro boy by sega is supposed to be a very entertaing sidescroller. Mario and Luigi: super star saga is a very fun role playing game. In fact, if you're nostalgic, u can pick up practically all the old mario games remade for gba.

Astro Boy is by Treasure, the same people that brought the gaming world Gunstar Heroes for the Genesis, which, by chance, is getting a GBA sequal in the form of Gunstar Super Heroes. It comes out this month, if you wanna wait for it. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is good, too, although I think that, save for a quick save feature, it plays out more like a console game. Still magnificent though, with good replay value. If you can track it down, I'd also suggest Super Dodgeball Advance -- if you've played the Neo Geo dodgeball games, you'll know what to expect. I saw a used copy at a Game Crazy near me for about twelve bucks, if you want a price range. Bubble Bobble Old & New -- scweetums. (In the form of a classic arcade hit) Megaman Zero is pretty much a safe bet, although it is MINDNUMBINGLY hard at times. Wario World 4 is also very fun, but it was a launch title, so I don't know what your odds of finding a copy today are. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is also a great strategy game, since I see you have Advance Wars and Tactics Ogre on your list. Lastly, there's Advance Guardian Heroes from our good friends Treasure -- I've heard people say that it's only a shadow of what the Saturn version was, but since I don't have money coming out of my ass, I've never owned or even played it. What I can say though is that it is a fun GBA game.

Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure and Kirby are good though. nice graphics and addicting games. also i recommend Sonic Advance 2 and/or 3 and MegaMan Zero 3, i really love them. maybe you could try Yu-gi-oh WW Edition and Duel Masters Kaijudo Showdown, if you like card games, and Megaman Battle Network for some action RPG. GBA has a great fighting game, Guilt Gear X. the only thing I don't like is the sound (like NES, with no offence) and the diffficulty. I, even being a dumb in fight games, can rock easily my opponents. But nothing can break Golden Sun hehe ![]() edit: and if you like pokemon, do not forget firered or emerald

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is indeed awesome, but the other English GBA Fire Emblem (just called Fire Emblem) is even better. Another favorite of mine is an older GBA game... Ninja Five-O, a simple, but really fun platformer.

Thanks for the recommendation guys, really appreciate it ![]() Anyway, finding cheap gba games are tougher than I thought it would be, ebay is full of pirated gba games and finding complete old games are tough and or expensive. I can't believe how high the prices are for Aria of Sorrow & Harmony of Dissonance, which is two of the three main reason I want to buy a gba (the third one being Circle of the Moon )It seems I would have to buy new games first and probably go with Astro Boy, Minish Cap should arrive on Tuesday as my first GBA games ![]() Any one had any recommendation for puzzle games other than Bubble Bobble? I found this japanese game and it looks pretty interesting (and a translation faq is available at gamefaqs so that's pretty sweet)

Yeah, unfortunately the Hong Kong pirates have really ruined the used GBA scene on ebay. Now, to find legitimate copies, you're stuck with regular retailers (GameStop, EB), which sucks since they sell used at barely less than new prices, and with GBA games they almost never have manual or box. Just a side note, to any GBA game collectors who want to organize and store your games like other games you may be interested in "DS-ing" them. DS game boxes are like DVD cases, only half as tall - they also have a slot specifically fit for GBA cartridges and a place to clamp the instruction book, like in Cube or PS2 boxes. You can buy the empty cases from Nintendo for a nice cost, and then print out labels that perfectly fit the DS case. You can actually have a nice presentable row of GBA games on your shelf, and not have to use the annoying GBA cardboard boxes, which always fall down and get bent. Oh yeah, a decent place to get used GBA games is half.com. The HK pirates don't sell there, and if you live in the US you can get almost all of the games for cheap $2.50 media mail, unlike those bull**** inflated shipping costs of like 6 and 7 bucks that alot of sellers charge on ebay.

And on the HK pirates -- does that mean I probably can't get Aria of Sorrow for ten bucks on ebay for real?

If you are a fan of the old school scrolling beat-em-up's (like me) then you might want to consider... Double Dragon Advance (Improved version of the orignal game) River City Ransom EX (Ditto) Final Fight One (Straight arcade port!) I'd say proberbly get them in that order, they are all pretty cheap and I know for a fact that Double Dragon Advance game be played two player link which is always good for a laugh! |

Also, yeah, like didamangi said, the preferred paper is cheap, thin non-photo paper. It actually looks TOO shiny and strange on photo paper, and the thick paper is hard to fit into the insert. As long as you have a good printer set on a high quality setting, they look really nice on just about any regular old paper.

Ninja Five-O - Yes the game has some generic looking graphics, but the gameplay is awesome. If you enjoyed Ninja Gaiden & Shinobi of old, you should really love this game. The mechancis with the chain you use to whip around and sword play/timing along with the excellent platforming like you'd expect in a 2D Ninja game make this game very worth getting. That's the only one I want to touch down on, since everyone else probably listed anything else I'd mention. Ninja Five-O gets no respek.

I already mentioned Ninja Five-O as well... don't worry, there are other people out there who recognize and appreciate its awesomeness.

Racing Gears Advance is a sweet game.. reminds me of Rock n Roll Racing. Zoids Legacy is a good RPG.. then if you like shooters check out Iridion, Gradius Advance, R-Type. Though these shooters are gonna be hard to find as well

Dragon Ball Advance adventure, pretty good action game with some mini games and a working fighting game, DBZ: Supersonic warriors is pretty decent too.
