*sigh*

This thing made my system cry. I played HL2 and Doom 3 with no problems but this beast is making me consider a system upgrade.

Getting it from GameSpot at about 9.5 KB/sec ^__^, 20 hours to go. The three Gamershell mirrors that have the game are way overloaded so I can't get it from there yet. The game does look quite nice though and I haven't played through a scary game yet, unless Far Cry counts as one .

Miserable 104KB/s here, but hey 35% done, though I am not gonna hold my breath that this is a decent FPS yet, very few really set new 'standards' for the genre.....or am I just getting jaded to the FPS genre...

Finished a while ago here.. runs great on my PC, not a single hitch or noticable FPS drop @ 1024x768. Pretty fun game, nothing really new, and not really mindblowing.. it's fun, but not great. I do however like the matrix like mode (ctrl), it's quite well done. On the other hand, the dust effect is way overused, and the story is just pure cliché. Easily outclassed by other FPSs.

I too have become jaded of the whole FPS scene. Battlefield 2 is simply amazing though, really renewed my strength in, at least, the online FPS scene.. (aside from its severe bugs).

Errffff

Well ran it at 'maxed' out settings (1280x960 / AA 8xS / AF 8x / max details.) Ran horrifically, slow, stuttery, and somewhat poor considering what was on screen (doom 3-esque black, with more black), somewhat lack-lustre graphics.

It's really painfully un-impressive, does nothing for the genre, some poor animations, low res textures in most places (look at the floor and count the pixels folks), okay this is a demo, but generic warehouse is getting a tad BORING, gun fire etc was poorly done.....seriously BAD plot, completely emotionless voice overs...erff, delete time....can't even be arsed to post screenshots.

Why are you guys crying over 50-100kb/s... thats not slow at all XD. As for the demo I think you guys talked me out of downloading it... though I know CKEmu to be overcritical sometimes.
