Just when you thought Tetris couldn't get any better

Quote:
Listen up all you puzzle-loving Linux folks: this one's for you. Some sadist out there has put together a Linux version of Tetris that uses a special algorithm to decide just which tetrad piece you need the least and then sends it in. It's ******* Tetris (or Bastet for short) and it's actively working against you.

So this means it's a complete waste of effort to get like 8 lines on top of each other with just one gap for the ' I ' brick
I'd like to take on the challenge though

I'm still hooked on Tetris Set 1 *Atari* in MAME, but I'll give this a whirl...

I'll stick to Nintendo 64 Tetris. Whatever the heck it's called. It's cool. Or Game Boy Tetris, which is similarly hardcore. (I wonder how long most people can go here on speed level 8-10?)

Boy that 'hard' or 'bastet' mode is nasty. The 'easy' mode gets pretty fast on the later levels as well...
Tetris World? *groan* I hate that version...
