ff7 pc video prob

ok this is a werid one cause the video starts to play and then if im in game it crashes the game but if i play in media player it comes up with an error (check screeny) can someone plz help me.

i have the true motion codec but i havent tried that yet i will try it and post back.

i installed the upside down movie patch but still no joy its still doing the same thing.

I found out what it was the disk was scratched and i didnt see it so im going to have to try find it in the shops or something but thx for the help.

I have managed to copy over every movie over from cds except for one on disk 3 called ending 2 can some help me by sending it 2 me or something cause it would help a lot.

We can't send it to you 'cause its copyrighted (spell??) material.
BTW, the PC version of FF7 has MANY bugs. I recomend that you get the PSX version.

DId you try making an iso of it and mounting that? I don't now if that would help but it may. but I too would recommend getting the psx version, esp since when you use the snowboarding and biking that it doesn't have a limiter, so if you have a fast pc, prepair for like 300fps...kinda a pain...

i have the psx version aswell but i like playing it on the pc with all the autrations people hae made for it plus the bike and snowbording is alright for me i have a way of slowing it down to just about the right speed.

the PC version doesnt have a frame limiter, IIRC, so basically, no.

The video file....I don't think a video file would be to big of a deal? I'm not going agaist the rule, just asking...It's not like we are sending the 3rd disk...(once again it's just my thoughts, I not trying to take part in illegal actions...)

thank you dogmaan,

and for mu pic above the other setting was image set to high qulity and i think what helps slow down cause those minigames are all 3d.

well then you're basically just relying on the stress on the videocard to slow it down...so it works, but there isnt a "true" frame limiter. i have no idea why one wasnt put on when the game was first made anyway

haha yeah same...but then again look at the rest of the port. I remember having a hell of a time getting to work all the time...
