Quick Man from Mega Man 2. I'd say he gave me the most initial trouble. (But I've been playing Mega Man games since the NES days, so the newer ones are cake.) And I assume we're not talking about end-game bosses?

When we're talking about Mega Man bosses, to define their difficulty, you usually have to qualify it with an "if", since almost any boss can either be very easy or very hard, depending on "if" you have the right beam. I know Elec Man from Mega Man 1 is real tough without the Cut Man weapon, since his shot takes off like half your energy with each hit.

It's just like Rhombus said, every boss has it's weakness, the only thing you had to do is pick one of them who you knew you could take on with your default gun when starting a new game.
Though certain bosses still had very annoying attack patterns, but it's too long ago since I've played the last Mega Man game so I can't name any bosses.

thats what i was expacting to hear! MegaMan 2 is defently is the best one ever.
well, there is also another one: in MegaMan zero 2 there was this griphin kind of a boss (flame type) he was really hard. took me alot to beat him (not to meantion the time it i spent to understand his strategy... teleport bosses are a pain in the a$$) |
