http://ps2.ign.com/articles/602/602745p1.html If you haven't played Fatal Frame, and Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, then where the hell have you been, and put down that POS called Silent Hill These games are not only original, scary, and fun, but bloody hard

![]() Back on topic, this is great news since I felt that Fatal Frame has the most "scare factor" among all of the survival horror games.

Well CK, I've played both Fatal Frame and Silent Hill and I have an inclination towards Silent Hill as it is more action oriented. I don't recall the exact name....but Capcom announced another survival horror for the PS2....kind of inventing a new type of horror game. But really, games get much more scary when you don't have WEAPONS to kill your enemy

Haunting Ground (Demento in JP) is the new horror from Capcom. It uses a system similar to the "Clock Tower" series in which you can't fight the guy chasing you, you have to hide. Instead you can send your trust dog after him to slow him down. As for FF, I agree FF was one of the few games to make me leave the light on when I first played it. The original game where you first see the ghost was creepy and stylistic. I havn't played the 2nd, due to it's still high value price. 44.99 everywhere around here still. But, I will want to get it soon. It's said the original girl from the first game is in number 3 as a charcter. |

Played the first one, really not that scary, more like a pokemon snap shot games w/ some action in the end for me :P Never tried the 2nd one though, but IMO SH series is better than this.
