Megaman X8 JPN PC to Have English Subtitles?!

I got this news from Planet Megaman.

It seems the Japanese version will two language choices for voices, and seven language choices for subtitles.

I bet Zero's sword one of those languages will be English.

I have seen the Japanese trailer, the Japanese voices sound much better than the English ones.

Japense voices + English subtitles = Possible Sweetness

This is on my import list.

Man I want my X8 PC version.

Game Informer gave it an 8.25 - much better than the crap that was X7.

Why is everyone so hyped about this game? I've been staying away for MMX series since x4.
so.. what's special about this one? and how does it differ from the previous installments?

It doesn't (aside from the crap that was X7). Megaman is not the kind of game that needs innovation - it needs to stay how it's been since '87, straight up 2D sidescrolling. Only now they're not using sprites, which will take getting used to, but it looks great.

Megaman X8 looks promising.

You can even play their female counterparts at the end of the game.

Too bad the PC version is coming out in March 2005!

Well that is why I got the PS2 when it came out in the US, it is still fun, and it is a pretty challenging game, let us just say it was difficult for me. This is coming from someone who has played all the other X games (which seem easier than this one).

I think X7 sucked too much to get a PC version.

You just spoiled the whole plot of the game.

Most likely the fact that Capcom finally put some effort into it rather than just using the same old sprites over and over... I don't think they will deepen much into the plot though.

The megaman series plot is actually quite nice. It's deep enough for die-hard fans and light enough for anyone to just pick up and play.

"Command Misson" even showed that the MM crew could do a half-way decent rpg.

I still prefer the Megaman:Zero games now to the MMX series.

For those who don't know..as well..

All the same timeline (in order)
MMC = Megaman Classic
MMX = Megaman X
MMCM = Megaman: Command Misson
MMZ = Megaman Zero

I actually liked the classic Legend's line. It really messed my timeline up, but I still loved it as it's seperate enitiy that it is.
