A problem with Doom 3!

Did any of this ever happened to you guys? Some times my doom 3 gets filled with red white and yellow dots, the game it self runs fine except for this. And it didnt happen before :/ Think my card is dieing or something?

Hard to say, I never experienced that. Did you try changing the drivers first and see what happens. If it is still causing those dots it maybe the video card, but I would not be able to confirm.

Wierd thing it used to run ok on the same drivers! Im using cat 4.8 btw (dont wanna switch to 4.9 now couse i heard it has performance losses)

Some of the radeon user in rage3d forum experience that kind of error too:

Try underclock your card about 20 Mhz and see if it goes away...

That's a fairly common problem with the Radeon 9800 series videocards. As didamangi already said, try underclocking your card. That helps in most cases.
