Pretty much the most general information ever, but aside from halo 3 and marvel vs. capcom 2, most if not all ps2 and xbox games are under $20 used as any gamestop/ebgames.

gamecube varies because those silly mario titles never go down in price, actually i think mario kart got jacked up to $40 again.

It did *and that's USED!* but if your local Wal Mart has Mario Kart Double Dash, it should list @ $29.99! *and that's NEW!*

I think it might even be priced that online (@ Wal Mart)

I'm lucky I found a copy on EBay for $16.99! and $1.99 was to ship UPS!

yea, i know i just bought an x-box on black friday and halo 1 is 24.99 at those stores and 9.99 at best buy new. made me laugh a bit. the only games i've seen that cost more than that are as i said nintendo made gamecube games (zelda twilight princess, double dash, mario tennis, and zelda collection) and halo 2 and ninja gaiden black are 24.99 a peice...

other than that most last gen games are pretty cheap now.

For the Dutch: Free Record shop has a 2 games for 25 euros action for PS2. Amongst those lots of platinum titles, such as GTA3 and Vice City.

For Geforce owners: ( Nvidia Steam Offer )
- Portal: First Slice (roughly a shorter version of the full game)
- Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
- Half-Life 2: Lost Coast
- Peggle Extreme (amusing small game)

For ATI owners: ( ATi Steam Offer )

Trackmania Nations Forever is also available from Valve

Both of these are available as standalones, without Steam.

- Sam and Max: Abe lincoln gotta gtfo (selectable button under the 'free demo')
Telltale Games - Sam & Max

- Trackmania Nations Forever (you can either fetch the Steam version or the other one from the other sites listed at the bottom):
TrackMania

As an aside note, Battlefields Heroes will be f2p and a certainly appropriate contender to Team Fortress 2, so you might wish to keep an eye on that one when it's out (likely to turn into an ECTS selection)

GameTap and GoG.com seem to be unusually good deals, surprisingly enough.

Gametap (a legit service) seems to allow playing of relatively recent hits for no more than a few seconds of advertising at the start of the game. You just download the client, either sign in or log as guest, then youre set.

Even games for the NeoGeo seem listed, among others. Can anyone say emulators (used either serverside or clientside) ?

AudioSurf fares for only 2.49 this week on Steam, if anyone is into that kind of music games.
