snes9x kinda dark

does anyone else think my snes9x is dark? look at the screen, Their Should be holes on the floor but you cant see em.Chrono Trigger shot

I just got past that area some time last week and had the same problem!! By guess work and lots of saving and loading I finally got to the end.

Have you tried playing it with Zsnes? Last time I played I had no trouble at that point.

Yeah, I'd guess it's an emulator glitch. Simple as that. Try ZSNES.

Same Result with Zsnes, besides. Zsnes Makes my system hang from time to time for some reason. thats why i dont use it

hmm....press the number buttons (not the numpad, the one above the keyboard). i cant remember what numbers they are, but i do know that they turn off certain layers of graphics...it seems like you just turned one off by accident.

The fact that the problem's popped up with other people seems kind of fishy though. And the fact that it's just that one area...

a long time ago I played it on zsnes (definately not the current version) and I had no probs there.
probably zsnes version 1.337 or something

it actualy wasnt just that area, the whole Magus' Castle Scene was So Dark. Ozzies' Trap Hole or whatever was the worst iv seen it. it was that dark too when i was on the mountain where you recived the first part of the broken masamune

You would have had to be there when it happened to understand. Maybe Clements can enlighten you.. I'm not going to say anything because I don't know exactly what happened there.

Waah ?! so Samor is playing rpg games

my only problem i got with CT was pressing 4 or so buttons together (on that future world to open the door) but i solved that later by putting 2 letters for one button
