Beat em ups / Soul Calibur 2

I have a PC but no console.. I love beat em ups but there are no decent ones on the PC.
Does anyone know of a good one ( i was hoping for Soul Calibur 2 or Tekken X) that DEFINATELY works on ANY emulator , and what the emulator is ??????
and does it work with a PC gamepad ?

Hope someone can help so i can go buy a good fight!

Thanks

Do you want to play them on an emulator? Because that will broaden your variety a bit.

seems like you want some 3d fighters....
the first soul calibur, doa2, fighting vipers 2 and virtua fighter 3 work on chankast (DC emu)
Of course any Playstation 1 beatemup can be played too (ePSXe)...
for PC you have some classics like Last Bronx and Virtua fighter 2 from Sega; then there's the pretty recent One must fall Battlegrounds but it's no SC2, VF4, or actually even close.

Well Virtua Fighter 4 is a Ps2 game and there is no working Ps2 Emu jet
And Soul Calibur 2 a GameCube game and there is no emulator that can run that too

Sorry

You'll be hard pressed to get even Soul Calibur working on an emulator yet. But, there's always their predecessor, Soul Blade, for the PSX that ought to run fine emulated. I used to have it but stupidly traded it in. Been trying to find another copy for some time now.

Soul Calibur should be working fine on Chankast (just check the Chankast section for more info about that game)

Don't count on any good Fighting/Beat em Up game on PS2, GC or Xbox to run well in an emulator. Cause that might take another year before that will happen.

Yeah, there are some 3d beat 'em ups for the ps1 (like soulblade and tekken) that you can play on a emulator (like epsxe with 3d acceleration enabled for cool graphics). but it'll be a while before they succesfully emulate the ps2 ones. i dunno about the gamecube and dreamcast ones. Other than that you can allways get a horde of the older beat'em ups for various older platforms (neogeo,cps1 ,cps2 and cps3 for example)

You know...MAME is also a good choice if you're in to 2D fighters. Lots of options available from Capcom and SNK there.

I think that, for some different stuff in the Beat'em Up field, the real thing is Power Stone (which you can run with Chankast). I like it a lot, and that's the kind fighting games I like if they have to be 3Ded.

Now, if you're looking for 3D "Side-scrooling" Beat'em Ups (like the good ol' Final Fight), I think that a nice option would be Fighting Force for the PSX, which you can run with the ePSXe or PSXeven (my pick ), as said above.
