Oh, I used to play this on my old Pentium 133. ![]() On a totally personal note, I don't think this is very, very crappy. Just a little bit. You can still extort some fun of it if you like ultra-fast crappy mecha fighting games released for DOS.

That's One Must Fall 2019 (or some year in the 20xx) and that game was awesome for its time. You got to create your own robot and fight with it, pretty fun stuff. The original One Must Fall sucked though.

Judging from that screenshot (and keep in mind that I can't figure out for the life of me what those things are, though they're apparently mechs ) I would guess some sort of mix of the first Virtua Fighter and Clayfighter...on the 32X.

One Must Fall 2097 was a decent beatemup from Epic Megagames back in their shareware days. The game is now considered freeware, check out this site. There is a new OMF game too, Battlegrounds. That one is truly awful!

the gfx looks very bad when compared to other games released at the same time . I remember there was another fighting game that i used to like for a while , it was called "Ultimate body blows" or something like that , and it contained the biggest numbers of stolen designs i've ever seen at any game . (guys who look like Terry , richard meyer, e.honda, ken , etc.) but it also had a quite good amount of great designs .

I've been playing a lot of that game recently. Got it to work in the NTVDM. I was gonna get battlegrounds, but if it's that cack, I won't bother. OMF2097 was a wicked fun game.

yup, OMF2097 was awesome, and it didn't look that bad for its time. As for its sequel, OMF Battlegrounds.... it works for me, but it falls short compared to most modern fighting games; it does have that whole feeling of those old epic/apogee shareware games though, so if you like that... it's more running on 'retro' than on actual quality, I have to admit that. |

One must fall 2097 is one of the BEST fighting games ive played even today. Maybe you need uber l33t graphics to enjoy a game but i dont, its gameplay and combo's was quite advanced for its time. OMF:BG has some shortfalls .. and you're right, as its not being developed by epic anymore, its kinda lacking its style .
