ps2 pandora tomorrow problem with controls

hi,
i have just started to play pandora tomorrow.my problem is that i can not figure out how to make sam walk slowly.i tried every key on the controller.but sam seems to keep on running.i have checked gamefaqs and other guides but could not find the appropriate key to make sam walk slowly.how do we reduce the running or walking speed of sam? it has really started to make me angry.

Hum in that case it would probably be gently pushing the joystic! Or if he moves with the game pad dont forget the gamepad has its own sensitivity as well! As do all ps2 controller buttons! So dont press hard! That might be it!
