Silly RZetlin, you wait for hope.

Delay's are in the essence of the three. (Halo,Half-life 2, & Doom 3)

I wish you luck. I know I am not looking forward to them anymore.

Doom 3 has never once been delayed, since never once a release date has been set. When ID sets release dates, they typically stand by them, since it's the only release date they set and it's done so close to the date.

As a fan of the Doom (and Quake) series, I can't wait. I like a good, mindless shooter just as much as the next man.

I cant wait either. After seeing the trailer, seems that this game will do some serious ass-kicking. My PC should be more than enough.

If anything, the full product will run better. The alpha was heavily un-optimized and rushed.

I am excited, as excited as the next person, over Doom 3. But as far as a brand new story line goes, forget it. ID and John Carmack have said that Doom 3 will be a remake of the Original Doom (still my all time favorite FPS) but with the very latest in todays graphics and technology. Still, from the pictures I've seen, who cares if it is a remake, it looks just fantastic. One that I can hardly wait for.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

well, it's not really a remake, more of a retelling. A remake would imply same level designs, monsters, weapons, etc, with just improved graphics. This is a completely new game with completely new content across the board. It's just you're supposed to forget the first two ever happened, and this is the first doom now... Kinda wierd to do, but that's the idea.
