I guess someone should change the name of this thread to make it a little different from another thread of the same name.

I'd like a cross between GTA, NFS, Smackdown, Fifa, Cricket, THPS, Star Wars, Sonic, MGS, RE, DMC

Free roaming from GTA.
Vehicle physics and cop chase from NFS.
Wrestling/fighting techniques from Smackdown.
Since its free roaming, we can go to stadiums to play soccer/cricket based on Fifa's engines.
Or a skate/jet-boarding range also
Hover vehicles, Light sabers, action sequences, universe, from Star wars.
a game-in-game with Sonic (like we can play games in an arcade in Shenmue)
Characters from MGS, DMC
Villains from RE.

That's pretty much it

take every single video game company ever made, invest billions of dollars into the project, have 600 different ideas arise and get used regarding the game, have it classified as every single genre of game ever, then release it to the public. What do you get?

Epicness on a grand scale (that's like... really epic).
A storyline to make any thinking man's head explode, yet simple enough for a child to understand
Intense racing to the ninth degree, with 53 realisticly modeled cars and chariots!
So real to the streets, the hookers are mostly men.
174 different weapons ranging from potato launchers to potato launchers with laser sights
600+ hours gameplay
And many more features unlockable through the special puzzle mode! ($500 attachment needed, sold seperately)

This game is going to be G-O-D! release date: 2008. Publisher: Valusoft

edit: syed beat me to it... i shouldn't sit with the reply form open for 15 minutes before i decide to type... *feels less original*

My wishes are simple... I'd like to see a decent new chapter on the Lunar saga, a new chapter of the Baldur's Gate saga (not the DA saga) and finally the continuation of the Shenmue series...

A game I'd really like to play would be a game like Super Smash Bros. Melee, but with characters not just from Nintendo, but from all companies over the last 20 years of gaming. I know it would never happen, but it would be pretty damn cool.

I don't like ppl going crazy over squeenix and finalfantasy all the time; I'm also not too fond of medieval settings; but the level up idea works rather well, doesn't it?

Well as for me I don’t like to participate in these kinds of threads because there is little to be gained from effortless imagination!
But who cares any way.
I always wanted to play a game made by both capcom and blizzard I mean can you imagine a game that is as scary as RE and strategic as war craft. Or may be a RE like Diablo.
Any way I think I am bad at this kind of thing it, after all it gets me nowhere.

Even though I consider myself to be a diehard RE fan, I don't regard RE as a "scary" game.

Don't worry. This isn't the only thing you're bad at.

And in case someone's wondering, yes, I am pissed off.

Well, it was meant to happen sooner or later... all genres get overused after a while, then people start experimenting by making hybrid of genres... it's the natural flow of the industry.
