Naruto Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 2

Ive just completed this game. It was very fun, although hard to read LOL

Here are some basic combos that all of the characters can do.

Up, Up, A : Vanish, then reappear just above where you were.

Down, Down, A : Vanish, then reappear behind the person you are attacking.

Double Tap Left/Right : Dash in that direction. Keep holding the button to keep running.

I am pretty sure that each character can do a special skill, (e.g. naruto's sexy no jutsu and uzamaki naruto rendan, also sasuke's chidori) However i have only activated these skills by accident and am unsure of how to do them again, please reply to this post and say how if you know !

When you pick up a summoning scroll, Hold Right then A to activate it.

Scrolls:

Scroll with akamaru on top: Summon kiba and akamaru. (Akamaru transforms into kiba and attacks enemy from both sides)

Scroll with haze of insects: Summon Shino (Who attacks with insects)

Fat scroll: Summon Chouji (Who then does meat tank)

Scroll with Oil (Shadow): Summon Shikamaru (Who then does shadow bind)

Scroll with Electricty: Summon Kakashi (Who then does Chidori).

Tips:

When fighting normal sound-ninjas, just tap B three times to kill them.

When fighitng fat sound-ninjas, use the down, down, a. combo to get behind them, and smack the crap out of them. Their punch sends you flying, so avoid it.

When fighting the sound-ninjas with the claws, use the down, down, a. combo to get behind them, their claw is nasty.

When fighting the ninja with the throwing axes and the big maces, get behind them and do a run-kick to make them go flying

The grease ninjas are just replications, so they are very easy to kill, one hit will do.

The barrier ninjas create a shield which moves towards you slowly, a few punches will destroy it, but if you are on a ledge it is likely you will be pushed off before you can destroy it. Use the down, down, a. combo to get behind him and kill him.

The sand monsters are spawned by gaara, and are like the grease ninjas, very easy to kill.

When fighting kabuto:

Hes very slippery, and likes to vanish alot. He has two skills, one in which his hands glow, and he can hit you for a long time. To counter this, get behind him and hit him, it should break the technique. His other technique is the chakra scapel technique, there is no way to counter this.

When fighting zaku (Air pressure sound-ninja)

This one is very weak, and his techniques do very little damage, i wouldnt worry about him.

When fighting dosu (ear-drum shatter ninja)

His technique is easy to escape, he grabs his arm and starts to run at you. Either do the up, up, a combo and go ino the air, or just jump.

When fighting Orochimaru (First time):

He is very easy first time round, just keep hitting him and you will win.

Second time:

A little bit harder, he will use snake techniques etc. nothing too bad.

Third time:

He summons a sword that hits you even if he is knocked down, try and kill him quickly by
using scrolls, etc, and the down, down, a. combo to get behind him and beat him silly.

Fourth time:

He summons the two previous hokages. The first shoots a water ball at you, and the second summons plants to bind you.

Orochimaru is still up to his old tricks by summoning the snakes and wind techniques.

When fighting Neji:

DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN HIS TECHNIQUE. If you get caught more than once, you will lose.
use the down down A combo to keep getting behind him and try to kick his ass.

when fighting gaara (first time):
His sand shield will stop frontal attacks, so use the down down A combo to get behind him
And hit him. When i played, i lost against him, and i fought orochimaru, I dont think it matters if you win or lose this first time round.

When fighting the puppeteer sound ninja:

If you hit his pupper, he doesnt lose health. Use the down down A combo to get close to him, hit him, jump out of the way. repeat this till he deays.

when fighting gaara (second time):

Same as last time, but he goes into that ball of sand, if you just keep attacking he should eventually come out and he is partly transformed into the racoon demon.

when fighting gaara (third time):

He is knocked out, all you have to do is keep attacking him till he wakes up.

Each usage consumes a portion of your life bar, so don't overdo it

They are activated by pressing:

Up Up B

Naruto's are:

Sexy No Jutsu, Uzamaki Naruto Rendan, Summon Frog

Sasuke's are:

Rendan, Chidori and Sharigan.

Sakura's are:

Combo enhancer, Shannaro, Shannaro combo enhancer

Also the vanishing combos are actually just

not up, up a, nor down down a.

In the game it slows everything but you down, kinda Matrix style.

I saw this when visiting my friend, it looked "tap the button like hell" type game...

It is kinda, but its very cool.

I suspect when naruto comes out in english in the UK and states, tomy will realise how leet it is and bring out all the games they have made so far for it in english

It plays well compared to the first,as with all things Naruto they're likely not going to release it in english,Too bad this time we don't get to play as Kakashi ("1000 years of pain" explains it all)

If you've played the PS2 version the game gets tiresome after the first round and the controlls feel like they need some serious fine tuning

Ive never played the ps2 version, I think its more likely that will be released in english than the GBA games.

Ahh... they are coming to europe??!! I thought this was one of those Japan only games...
