Basically I have 2 consoles, PS2 & Xbox (the green halo one). If you were to trade one in and "most" of the games you have for it to get a different console, Which would you choose?

Well for one what other console is their? Just the Gamecube. For the price of one right now why wouldn't you just save for one? You have the two consoles with the widest game library in it. I really don't understand why you would want to do this?

I can see you like Nintendo from your sig.

Well it all depends on what games you like best for what console. I say the best way to decide is gather your favorites for PS2 and also Xbox, Count em and whatever ones you have the most that you like keep that one and sell the other one.

Patience is better than giving up what you already have.....I wish I'd kept some of my old GB games.....Don't give in to the temptation!

Taking into account the games available for each console the obvious choice is the XBOX, however considering that you have a special edition of the System and that it has some good titles I'd wait instead of giving the system as payment... why having 2 systems when you can wait and have 3 ?

I think you've missed the point, Kaiser. The idea of trading is that you don't have to wait. Its an exchane of equal value (or less if you're stupid enough to go by Electronics Boutique's deals). I'd too drop the XBOX... on the other hand it is a special edition and XBOXs are bullet proof whilst PS2s aren't.

The idea of not trading is that you won't miss a thing... patience is a virtue, there's not a trading in which you will end up winning for you will always lose something. Even if it's just for 2 games, trading the console seems to me like a waste...

Personaly, if I had to get rid of one of the two, I'd get shot of the X-Box. It looks purty and all and it's useful for playing DivX on the TV, but the games on the PS2 are IMO better in general.
That said, I'd not get a GC. There's basicly bugger all I want on it.
