The Shining Series Returns..

"Sega has officially revealed three new Shining titles in the Japanese Yanmaga magazine, first is Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon for GBA (remake of the Shining Force for Mega Drive/Genesis), second is Shining Tears for PS2, and third is a brand new Shining Force title for PS2. Sega plans to announced details of the three games in its new website Shining-World.jp."

While, I knew about the remake of the 1st Shining Force Game (Shining in Darkness being the first Shining game overall). I did not know about the other which were recently announcd. I am glad that such a classic series is being revived.

I heartily agree. Shining Force 2 was arguably one of the best games on Genesis.

well, even though i cant play two of em withotu a ps2... im still glad that one day ill be able to play through one of my favourite game series

The GBA remake looks quite simple, RPGfan used to have some pics on the main page last month... I'm intrigued about the PS2 SFs though, they might prove to be a good rival for the upcoming Fire Emblem on the GC...
