Morrowind

Hello mates. I dont play many games I just don't have the time anymore, but the one game I started playing and cannot stop is Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. It is my opinon that Morrowind with all expansions has to be one of the greatest offline games on the market. Does anybody else share my thoughts?

Hint: Game discussion.

Yeah, I've played morrowind for some time, but it got boring and I was heavily disappointed of the capital city.

Yeah, Morrowind at its basic starts to get boring, but what really brings it to life are mods.

Goto www.elderscrolls.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php forum and start looking around or even asking some essential mods that bring morrowind alive. More people to cities, more houses, forests, animals. And texture enhancers that give world much more realistic looks, and upgraded models mods (like better bodies mod and face packs, and weapon models) that give people and stuff more realistic look without much cost of FPS.

Forgive me if I put this topic in the wrong category. The mods for Morrowind do rock in my opinon. I played the Isengard mod where you fight the evil wizard (cant remember his name).

I do have a question for you. The hardest mobs in the game *including expansions* are they a peice of cake if your high lv or does a challenge still pose at the end game area.

Well, there are some special characters in the expansions that are hard even for a high-level character but mostly the areas are filled with mobs that go down pretty easily, but that doesn't mean they're as easy as in the main game .. I think the expansions were geared for characters that are in the late parts of the main quest or have already finished it.

The only issue im stuck dealing with is when I start a new game and have Tribunal installed. I goto sleep at an early level only to find an assassin who is sorta tough for a newbie at the game, beating me senseless. I wonder if there is a way to prevent this from happening so early in game short of not installing tribunal till later?

morrowind + addons is the Nr1 non-linear, open ended rpg at the moment. in this game man can do everything he wants (even fly). great gameplay, video and sound. ability to modificate easilly. those who are bored just didnt get in to the game. and yeah, its a challenging game (with difficulty slider @100), not so easy like some psx-rpg kinda FF.

ps: what capital city do you mean? morrowind has no capital city. its just a dunmer continent. tribunal's mournhold - city of the king, is a great capital though

Exclamation

I also throughly enjoyed Morrowind. When it was due to come out, everyone could not wait. Then when it did come out all they did was "bash" it. Very strange and a little fickle if you ask me. I have Morrowind for the X-box complete w/the expansions. I still enjoy playing it.
sincerely,

Completed morrowind, was a hell of a long ride, but was one of the most enjoyable rpgs ive played, simply for the sheer openendness in gameplay/quests/char creation

i must have spent nearly 90 hours on the game, all worht it, but the best was the scrolls that dude had that makes you jump for miles
