well i watched the first to series. i liked it. wasnt all that bad but i never got hooked by the third one so this is where i stop following Digimon

1st series was cool. the ssecond one was cool 2, not as good as the first but still good. the first digimon for the ps1 was a seriously good game provided you had freinds to battle.

I'm really a fan of it. 'cos I finished 1st 2nd and 3rd game of Digimon hehe... But I live in Turkey and they don't show 3rd and 4th series I'm very sad

Well , i liked the first part of the anime , the second was bad and the third was a catastroph (just look at them with lightning and stuff just to pass a card :sarcasm: )
i played a digimon game for wonderswan , but it didn't excite me .

I find the first series interesting, it was well made IMO and the story was far more unique than a digimon-clone. The imitation begins at the second series and thats where I decided to stop, not worth even looking at it..

the only Digimon game i played was Digimon : Rumble Arena on psx. it was kinda like (but not as good as) Super Smash Bros. i never got the chance to see the anime series.

The first and second series where good. it got strange after they used the Cards to upgrade their digimon. at that point i thought they where trying to immitate Yu-Gi-Oh.
Do they still show the Digimon?

I know cards are disgusting but graphics are very good when they are digivolving... What do u think about DNA Digivolve... Isn't that cool? If that was in pokémon... Think what would they become (Pikamander, Squasaur, Pidgefree )

When I was small I used to have the little digimon battle things (same as gigapet pretty much) I thought it was awsome. The cartoon licked balls though.

the whole digivolving thing is what set it apart from Pokemon. DNA Digivolve was in 3rd serires right? or was it 4th? aniway i liked the old digivolving like when matt and tai (tell me if im giving the wrong names lol) got there digimon to those mega giga levels

no no no no It was in 1st series Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon's DNA Digivolution Omnimon that was a REALLY powerful digimon but... It's not giga... There was nothing named giga. The digivolution chart is, "Fresh > In-training > Rookie > Champion > Ultimate > Mega " and that DNA is "Mega + Mega = Mega" nothing named giga.

I think you have already heard theese words "Do you wanna be a master?" I want and worked 3 years I think now I'm really a master but I'm still trying to improve myself. 'cos of that reason I'm writing such silly and messy things

and sorry for my bad English hehe!

ohhh but whats the weird digivolving in the 3r or 4th one...im not crazy...there was a weird digivolving

as for giga i was just saying that becuz i didnt remeber how it was called, its been quite a while since ive seen an episode

Yes, it's so americanized that it originated from japan, was more popular in japan all the way through, and is still popular in japan even today, while us americans dropped the fad and got into yu-gi-oh. That's how americanized it is.... fantastic call. Who would have thought that an americanized anime would create a sensation bigger than nearly any other anime in recent time in japan, rising far higher than any in america? You'd think americans would like americanized anime better...

Digimon had some good points (1st and 2nd series) but were totally overshadowed by its bad points:

1. Pokemon clone.
2. They never lost unlike Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh!, when in trouble just digivolve until you win, kinda like DBGT in a way.
3. 3rd series was really bad especially the kid screaming to give his digimon more power, sends a chill down my spine.

Well let me put it this way, the first series was for 12 year olds and younger, the second series was for 10 year olds and younger, the third and rest of them are for 6 year olds but not for younger kids!
About the games they are also for any one who doesn’t know about capcom and square soft or any thing cool. Sorry to break it to ya pal but digimon is one of the worst animation there is. It is not even near pokemon and pokemon sucks. Not to mansion the digimon movies are also not that good. don’t take this personal or any thing but digimon is not that good it is just an idea taken from pokemon when it made a great success.
