It's only been in development for a couple months, so there's really not much to say at this point other than it is going to eventually be the sequal to KOTOR.

Well its about damn time to announce about sequel. First game was so kick ass but ending was so halfway left (what happens between characters and especially main ones) that it really pissed me off. But now i can only wait and see what the sequel turns out to be.

Right, I was disappointed in the ending too. It didn't tell me anything besides that I have saved the Galaxy from the evil Sith. You know, it's kind of like Star Wars: Episode 4's ending "I saved the galaxy and received a medal. Goodies!" I would like the sequel to have some connections with the first one but I doubt it would include the same cast. I wish HK-47 back thought, he was hilarious.

I really hope they dont screw up the endings. The first one was SO bad. hopefuly they'll go through with the less talking more action idea. their are some points where i didnt care much about the dialog because it was SO LONG

Im still working on going through dark, i reached malak but had to start over. for some damnd reason i wasnt landing a blow. at all. with just normal hits. i maxed out levels too. i mustve did somethign wrong.

If you think the Light side ending was bad you should try JK2: Jedi academy
the dark side ending really wasnt thought through well enough. the lightside ending was bad also.

I think they are going to make a sequel from JA dark side ending, thats why it better thinked than light side. About dialogs, i think THAT was what made the game good IMO. Well balanced in story, great characters, and good looking fighting. Only ending was veryveryveryveryvery horrible (havent seen the darkside ending yet thought...)

MaZa. dark side endings really a waste of time, and near impossible to compleat depending on difficulty level.

Spoiler:
First of, if you Kill hash. your on your own. and i do mean on your own. when you reach the accademy to fight that other chick EVERYONES against you, the dark Jedi. light jedi. all of em. By the time you beat that chick and reclaim the Ceptor/Staff thing. all they show is Jaden Stealin A Star Detroyer and Kyle going after him. which is why i said i dont think it was thought through well enough. because they left a fealing like its not over yet

I wonder if KOTOR dark side ending is any good. Light was pure and total crap
but if you go dark and reach the star forge. it gets REALLY cool

Thats why i said they left opening for sequel. Im quite sure they will make that.

Its not impossible to play on hard levels, just damn hard. And when possible, use force grip to throw them out of your sight high up to sky, like to lava pit or from high cliff. Sometimes they start falling head on and die (even if the height wouldnt be so high that it would kill instantly. Its fun!). You must be quite quick thought or they will push you away. Im not playing it on hard levels anyway usually, i dont like playing blood on my mouth and grinding teeth.

With how popular this academy game is, along with KOTOR, I guess I gotta try them. Wonder if there's some demo out there somewhere. *looks*

Bluesnews rules:

KOTOR 2 Details [April 27, 2004, 10:47 am EDT]
The first of the promised (story) details have appeared for Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords, which is the official title for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (presumably, as the game has not yet been officially announced). This title, along with a February 2005 release date, can be found in the Knights of the Old Republic 2 first details on Gamesradar (thanks Frans), which also includes a confirmation for paranoid PC gamers that a PC edition of the game is in the works in addition to the Xbox version. Here's a bit on the sequel, which is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment:
Sith Lords is set five years on from KOTOR's conclusion: the Republic has spiralled downward into a vicious free-for-all, the Jedi have disbanded after a civil war and you play the last remaining Jedi. Ooh, we like.

So, unlike in the first game you actually start out as a Jedi. However, this is a bit of red herring. You still won't begin the game with a lightsaber and your Jedi Force powers will be limited as before. But hey, you've just returned from exile and the world's a mess - it takes time to get back into the flow. Not that much time though, and you'll be getting your hands on a lightsaber and ramping up those Jedi powers long before frustration sets in.

So what are the real differences? Well, your leanings towards the light or dark side now has an effect on your party. Start going dark and your team will be influenced by your nefarious ways and begin acting likewise. Which all makes sense to us as it did seem a bit strange that you could be holier than thou or sadistically warped in the first game and it made little difference to those around you beyond the odd 'tsk' here and there.
