I saw a couple of these before. They look good. I wish they were higher res, but what more can ya get.

This game looks to be shaping up really well. I'll want to play it.

Is it just me, or FFX's characters had more detailed EYES?

I wish they wouldn't even allow the general US public to know of this game. They should keep hush hush and silence everyone on the internet capable of leaking it to the american public. I don't wanna wait till 2005 .

They do have something common...but I think Square never picks face models from celebrities unlike Capcom.

Square does use models, I read somewhere Rinoa and Yuna were based off the same person.
Not sure if they use the face though.

Some, but not all. IIRC the guy on the character designs in this did Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story. I'd have to say it shows too

Come to think of it, I can't think of another [mainstream] FF game with an archer. FF5 might have had it. FF6 didn't, FF7 had 2 gunners, but no archers, FF8 had the whole disc launcher thing and a shotgun user (a sharpshooter who uses a shotgun? I still don't get that) no archer in FF9, I don't even recall a long range attacker (other than Magi and Freja's jump), FF10 had the blitzball (I mean honestly what person would throw a football at people to kill them. The only way that would work is if it was a cannonball disguised as a football) FF10-2 (kinda still in the mainstream stuff) had two gunners, but no archers....

You could count Final Fantasy Tactics, but that was a Strategy RPG and wasn't really part of the 'Final Fantasy' series people know. Besides the archers weren't active story characters(I think), I played like 10 mins of it.
