Very impressive isn't? It was showing on german TV a few days ago. And no, there is no trick in it and its not using things which are on the HD already ( EDIT: except a standard windows font for the menu

)...Too bad its somewhat hardwarehungry.

when i try to run it , it gives me an illegal operation message !!!
any way i know a fps that was less than 100 kb in size
it was made by id before wolf3d and it was in ega color mode (16 colours) it had a medievel sense with many tombs and enemies to kill

worked fine for me...didn't get good fps but its a coding miracle with it being under 100kb

Their coding miracle should have included some optimizations.

that's not the point. if you read the readme, they even said that they've yet to actually focus on gameplay. it's still a work in progress. It's like saying pcsx2 sucks because i can't run ffx at 60fps with perfect graphics.

The miracle's called pre-generation.

3/4 of the 96 kb are basically the informations what to build, where to use and when.

If it can't run on my computer, it sucks. This is the first game that can't. When I can't play something to it's full potential, even if gameplay sucks I won't use it.

PCSX2 is an emulator. I never said it sucked. I am entitled to my own opinion so don't question it please.

i respect your opinion and i didn't claim you thought pcsx2 sucked. I was using it as an analogy to show how you're being a tad bit disrespectfull to the developers of this program.

I respect how they made this into 95kb. That is truly amazing. I am impressed their. But getting like 5 fps was not too fun. I mean something made for the PC and (not trying to be braghing or anything) But not neing able to run on even my pc was pretty bad. PCSX2 is an emulator, trying to "emulate" something on another platform, so it is expected to run slow at first. I hope they forcus more on fps than story first.

So we can all actually be able to play the game.

running slow on your "l33t rig" in no way constitutes is as a bad game...nooen played deus ex 2 because it ran bad but i thought it was a great game...but as you said...everyone is entitled to their own opinion...

Yea I didn't mean to sound like i'm bragging that I have an "l33t" rig and I guess sucks was kinda a strong word, But when the majority cant even get it to run or it runs that slow, it was too premature to be released, even as a beta. It should have been an alpha, or not released at all till it was ready.

How are we supposed to rate something the majority or people can't even play or run.

easy: dont rate it. I haven't, because i can't really do anything with it as well. It starts, but most of the textures dont show. At least it goes at a good 20fps.
