Initial D game on PC....

looks kind of dated though; can anyone confirm if this is a port of the PS1 Initial D game?

Well the game blows. They changed the music from all the cool cheesy Eurobeat tracks to something that sounds like it was meant to be in Need for Speed: Underground, the drifting is near impossible to control, the tracks are all too narrow, control is unresponsive at best..... It's not the same as the PSX version, which although crap was a lot better than this tripe.
If you want a decent Initial D game, the PS2 port is the only good one.

well, if I ever find it locally, it'll probably be dirt cheap, and I'm gonna buy it anyway, just to see it, hah.

btw, samor, what's that game in your avatar? it's hard to tell from the small pic, but it looks like fun with so many cars within such small section of the road

Yeah, it's annoying as hell, becasue I really want to play an arcade style racer like the Ps2 version on the PC

played it now (the initial d pc game), and indeed; it's terrible.
