Weird Chrono Cross problem(a bit o' spoiling I guess)

First of all, hi to all of ya, it's my first post

Now, I have gotten to the Earth Dragons cave, and I have 2 of the turtles in place(the one you blow u, and the one that you drop down from the cliff). I have defeated the last one, but how do I push it into the hole?

I have tried so many times, and it only says "Push the thing into the jet" or something, but I get no yes/no option to do so! Have any of you ever had this problem?
