Halo does, as I was playing that on my bro's 18" Widescreen LCD monitor.

Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed (and perhaps other NFS, or other EA games?)

As for TV, I'm not sure if any current video card driver can use a widescreen resolution for TV out.

I'm sure your driver has weird resolutions.
As a matter of fact I use 848x480 to play CPS1/2 games, to get those long rectangle pixels without stretching.
But as far as I've seen, TV output usually only works with 2 resolutions, 640x480 and 800x600. I haven't tried it on more recent drivers tho.

i just remembered about games like Tony hawk 4 and THUG (tony hawk underground) that have a widescreen option well i dunno about PC...but i know PS2 and GC have em. it's anamorphic widescreen...it adds more stuff to the left and right and you use your TV's stretch feature to widen it out....looks good

a few GC games have widescreen, a friend of mine has a widescreen TV and a GC and he was showing me some stuff..sorry i cant remember any other games besides THPS4 :/

Thats right!

Actually my card can. I use Rage 3D to have custom resolutions to fit my TV. I use 1024x600. It works perfect. I am using 4.10 and Rage 3d as I said before.

Also thanks for the replies. A few of my PS2 games have widescreen but when strecthed 52" they look pixelated as you could imagine.

1024*600 is not a 16:9 resolution. Here are a few that are: 320x180, 800x450, 1024x576, 2048x1152.

VC can only have the widescreen enabled for the real time videos, at least in my pc.

Btw, what is the max resolution you can choose when using tv-out? I heard that 800x600. If its more it can damage the tv but dont know for sure. And why the tv screen looks so washed out?

I think 800x600 is max for that. I have an RGB connection on my tv, which you can have pretty much any resolution and no damage at all. But your maxtv resolution when you have a newer one is usually best suited.
