I saw this. Last I checked, it was mentioned that it hadn't been officially confirmed by Sony.....looks cool, though.

Yeah, tough, die cast, kinda.
I guess SONY is trying to match the toughness of the XBOX(you know since the Maschatutes incident).

It also looks like they are departing from their PSX style design(if this turns out to be true).

Well I think they should make a design that will compliment the new psp design. Make it really sleek and shiny. Unlike the PS2 ... Looks like a 70's entertainment center.

I though the PSP was more darkish-smooth.
Kind of like Granite except more of a solid color, oh yes, also with rounded edges. Now that would be cool. Except it might turn out to look like one of those robotic vaccum cleaners. bah

Yesa it is really smooth, with black and a silver tone to it. And the buttons are set in. I think it would look damn cool for a console.
