Re: Ff6 ,7 Huh?

This looks a lot like FF6... If I had to guess, I'd say that it's Celes, Locke & Shadow..

Re: Ff6 ,7 Huh?

It's pictures from when Square was thinking about letting out an FF or two on the n64, sadly enough they went PSX instead - or we would've had an FF7 that wasn't half as "triangular"...

btw, those shots are WAAY higher quality than the film I've got... url to where you got 'em?

edit: btw, afaik that's Terra/Tina, not Celes.

Re: Ff6 ,7 Huh?

Interceptor? Now wait until you see the clip where Locke attacks and you'll forget about him :P Locke ties a rope around the robot's neck and pushes him down on the ground... and I think he jumps to the other side of the robot in the process, too... long time since I saw that clip.

Re: Ff6 ,7 Huh?

Yeah but it woulda've come down to how much an N64 cart could've held. This might heave been enough to prompt Nintendo in releasing the N64DD in the US.

Re: Ff6 ,7 Huh?

Lord of Darkness what did they do to Locke and Terra ? Well, fortunately the game never saw the light of the day... you know, not every game hast to be 3D.

2D is good enough for a game like FFVI... too bad it's so underrated

Yeah, curvy is always better - especially with FF babes.

Re: Ff6 ,7 Huh?

I reckon they should make an FF6 remake with Cell shading. This doesn't look right for some reason, but I reckon Cell shading would work on this gmae.

Cell shading as in Tales of Symphonia would be nice... Cell shading as in Zelda TWW would be... unfortunate

Re: Ff6 ,7 Huh?

I didn't like zelda's character design, but other than that the cel shading looked good. cel shading would be a much nicer transition from 2d to 3d, though. People always seem to have trouble making dark cel shaded games though, and if ff6 wasn't dark, then it just wouldn't be right at all.
