Xbox Randomly freezes?
Has anyone's xbox randomly freezed at one point in time? i bought mine refurbished .. so i really dont know. it kinda beeps when it freezes though

When I used to own an Xbox, meaning before I broke it during a mod attempt, it used to freeze up at some points. I never did try many games for the Xbox so my major freezing experience was with Unreal Championship, though it did happen on other games. Don't worry about the fact that your Xbox is refurbished. The freezing is normal. P.S. I only had my Xbox for about two months before I practically destoryed it. What a great way to waste $200+. |

heh, my friend did that when he was trying to mod it, he screwed it up once, but he was able to rebuild it.

I rented the console several times and I used it for extended periods... never heard of such a thing, maybe it's because it's badly modded or something...

As I've said, as far as I know there's nothing normal in that... I suggest that you consult this matter with the one who sold you the system before it's too late.

Freezing with any system, be it PC, X-Box, or any other system, is not normal. When I bought my X-Box I was also going to buy refurbished but the Guy at Game Crazy said that the refurbished units had caused nothing but problems and that I would be better off buying a new one. I listened to him, bought a brand new one, and have had no problems w/my X-Box at all. Raiden1803, do yourself a favor and listen to what Kaiser Sigma is telling you. Return your refurbished X-Box to where you got it from and check into getting a new one instead. I really think that you'll be happy that you did. sincerely, sx/amiga |
