Bah, one day I will get accepted into a beta

I'm on this new craze to sign up for betas, Signed up for 2 MMORPG Betas, And Lords of Everquest Beta recently.

I swear. ONE DAY I will get accepted into a beta. And I'm Starving for a decent MMORPG.

If you have a powerful machine. I suggest you guys go here and try and sign up for the beta. Game looks great

It's system requirements are pretty steep. I actually dont meet them.

ive been on the dragon empires waiting list since november... last november... but, im hopeful theyll start those betas soon

also been on the waiting list for dark and light...

well, i guess im also looking for some mmorpgs to play

Ditto, I'm on Dragon Empires as well. You can also sign up for beta with Lords of Everquest, The RTS game based off EQ, If you're into that sorta thing.

But I have never ever been accepted into beta. The nerve

Speaking of beta testing and Everquest, I just got accepted to beta test Everquest: Champions of Norrath for the ps2. Hopefully it will be good, I beta tested the other two Everquest games for the ps2 and didn't enjoy them.

thats why you have to play them a lot when in the beta stage. that way, but the time the beta ends, you'll be completely bored with it. thats what i'd do anyways.

Beta testing is like a snowball. once you get accepted into one, you're more likely to get accepted into another, then so on. I know this one guy who's been on like 10 betas for commercial games, and he basically gets on every one he asks to get on now.

I've only been on the earth and beyond closed beta. I ALMOST made it to the ffxi beta when they did the contest thing, it was first 1000 valid entries get a free beta copy of ffxi, and i sent in my application 15 minutes after that one friend, and he got in and not me. That really angered me.....

To bad I don't like MMORPGs or on-line gaming. If I did then I would probably sign up. According to the specs posted, my machine meets and exceeds them. Oh well, such is life.

I got accepted into EVE: The Second Genesis for a final stress/bug test. It was fun for a while. Then came the CS1.6 Beta. I was determined to mine my way into that and I did.

The next beta I want to sign up for is that Matrix Online game. For more beta sign ups go here:

i'm not much of an online gamer, although, i'd like to be. i believe the main reason is that downloads are always taking up my bandwidth.

Bah, I once tried to dl RO... when it was near 400 MB the dl reseted itself... I got pissed and never again I tried to dl a MMORPG

I Love mmorpgs, They are my favorite class, But the problem is. They take so very very long to develop. It's usually ages before I actually see one that I can play. And then generally. I have to pay to try it.

MMORPGS have one problem. They arent usually doable with a demo. Games like Anarchy Online and Asherons Call 2 offer 7 day free trials (which is great)

But more mmorpgs need to do this. Your other alternative of course is. To try and get onto a beta mmorpg
