Most Memorable Soundtrack

What games have you played that the music will forever be tattooed on your brain from being so freakishly awesome. Good game music isn't hard to come by these days but soundtracks that you will always remember are once in a seldom while...what are your favorites that you will never forget? I'll post my answer later...I'm still pondering

Re: Most Memorable Soundtrack

Well I guess mine would be Final Fantasy 8 and Ratchet and Clank. The music just fit so well with those 2.

Re: Most Memorable Soundtrack

Legend of Mana.
That game prolly has the best OST ever if you ask me, everything is so nicely composed and sets the mood to exactly what is played.
My adrenaline gets pumped whenever i hear "Darkness Nova".
Summing it up, LoM is tha bomb OST

Re: Most Memorable Soundtrack

FFVI & FFVII, Legend of Mana (the game is bad, but the soundtrack rocks), Chrono Chross (once again, the OST is the best part of the game), Xenogears and many more.

But if I were to choose just one it would be either FFVI or FFVII.

i don't remember any complete soundtracks, and unlike many, i haven't gotten them as mp3s. as of recently, the only song i really remember is that one from FF9, the one that dagger sings.

I only liked that vocal theme played during the introduction of the game (not the opening), Darkness Nova and Pain the Universe... those 3 alone are some of the greatest themes ever, though I wouldn't call the rest of the OST superb... IMO of course...
