GBA, Famicom 20th Aniversary Edition

Also saw from psx2000.com, but this one is old news.
I'm sure anyone who ever owned a Famicom would immediately want this. Well you have until end of this month to buy those six games... yeah right.

Re: GBA, Famicom 20th Aniversary Edition

No one. It is a Famicom styled GBA, nothing to do with the old games.
Gosh your ignorance is getting on my nerves, not to mention every thread.

Re: GBA, Famicom 20th Aniversary Edition

Ok, back onto my topic.
Since most of the words on that site there are in images, if someone who reads Japanese can translate it to English, that would be nice.

I am guessing the deal is this:
  • buy those six games listed (GBA and GC games, but I can't read those titles)
  • send in proof of purchase and an application
  • you are entered into the sweepstakes for one of the 10000 prizes
Prizes are:
  • A. 1000 GBASP's that look like a Famicom gamepad
  • B. 3000 T-shirts - 1500 are FF Crystal Chronicles, 1500 are Sword of Mana
  • C. 3000 T-shirts - 1500 are Xevious, 1500 are Hurry Mappy
  • D. 3000 T-shirts - Family Computer 20th
(click on those black bars to see the T-shirt designs)

Talking about ilegal stuff is as bad as posting links to roms... this forum doesn't encourage piracy, but I suppose that such logics are beyond your understanding

Anyways, back on topic... Takwu on a second thought that GBA SP can be obtainable, like most of the limited stuff out there it will pop up on Ebay a few months after the release date... at an exorbitant price, of course

Re: GBA, Famicom 20th Aniversary Edition

well, the super famicom style gba2 might be too far in the future, but that'd be nice.
about snes or nes, Nintendo of America would be really smart if they make a nes style gbasp, and make it more accessible. It would definitely boost the image the company once had. But then again they aren't known for being smart lately.
