i was wondering what super like major good games are there with great grpahics...preferably the RPGs listed at the top =)

i play:
Dungeon Seige
Wc3
Diablo 2...a bit
SNES emu
PSX emu

Morrowind...

also 'nuf said

Morrowing was too slow for me...though morrowind can be slow at times...at least its not the traditional obove view RPG

well nvn is AWESOME, its d&d based, it runs well, has a cool single player story, game play is good, plus you can create your own game using the aruora tool set (the creators of the game used this to make the single player campaign!). Plus through in multiplayer, with limitless posseiblities AND a new expansion pack that adds tons of more premade things to the tool set plus another adventure WHAT more can you ask for.

morrowind hmm...haven't played it yet, I heard its one of the longest games made though.

Hmm.. I have never liked western RPG, anyways, I suggest you to give "Silver" a try if you can get your hand on it. It's quite old but I think, it has pretty cool graphics. Something like FF7+Diablo, 3d characters, prerendered background and diablo-like realtime battle(no turn base).

its EXTREMELY WRONG...im actually only like 2 steps into the main story and i have both expansions...all i do is wander the world and beat crap up...really need to get back on that storyline...

i played through morrowind 3 times. it can be long if you have trouble and need to do some side quests or something, but if you run straight through the main story, there shouldn't be too much trouble. still haven't picked up bloodmoon though.

from screenshots, i've seen arx fatalis to look quite good, and theres lionheart thats coming out soon, but i'm not so sure those graphics are all that great.

Only thing I didn't like about NWN is the level cap at lvl 20. Limits the modules you may try. Maybe introduce an epic expansion?

can't you change that in the undertide expansion? I don't have it so I don't know.

chances are that yeah, undertide does change it. but even if it doesn't, you could download one of those exp cap removers.

hmm crap is i never played d2 or Boulder gate so i dont really understand NWN dont know the functions and all.

and it wil take me way to much time to learn it all

its the character level cap being 20. skills are probably capped at 25 still.

Arcanum is pretty nice also and I agree you can't go wrong w/NWN or Morrowind. BTW, you said you've been play Dungeon Siege? Well, an expansion module is coming for that game also. I'm definately going to get that once it becomes available.

dungeon siege was kinda easy. cleared the game. And i didnt even know how to summon creatures with my wizzard

thats because you didn't need to summon monsters. you could get away with an entire team of fighters. the game was easy though. its a much better single player than multiplayer too.

i called walmart...they said they have an expansion pack one...so is it like all other games wehre you need NVN installed, and then you can intsall that xpack?

they dont carry the NVN original, as she said on the phone, but that wouldnt exactly make sense...any ideas?

yeah, i have yet to see an expansion that is stand alone. hence, expansion.
