Mircosoft Fable

OMG! has anyone seen this yet? i dont think its as good as FF, but considering its an american consol its pritty good, i havent found any reviews yet since its not coming out till winter

Gamestop his this game due to come out in March, 1st 2004.

I think this looks pritty good, nothing to compair with Final fantasy but its a start.

I think with Peter Molyneux behind the development, it will be an innovative game with as much similarity to Final Fantasy as Black and White has to Warcraft III. That isn't to say it will be good tho. As innovative as B+W was, it didn't hold my attention for long.
It does look nice tho.

I neve3r knew XBox had FSAA.

I hate how all shots these days are "doctored" or "cleaned up" But looks cool.

That's for sure. But often when a game is developed focused only in innovations the final result isn't too good.

Kane's example of Black & White shows that innovation isn't always a good thing.

The X-Box always had FSAA. It can use all the modes avaliable to the geForce 3. IIRC DoA 3 uses Quincunx mode....

Well why dont they use it in more games? It probably would slow it down too much huh.

Well yeah. The more detail you put into a game, the less likely you are to be able to use FSAA.

Yeah i guse mircosoft was trying to do something diffrent then what square has been doing. iv never played black & white so i wouldnt know a thin about it

Wait.. i just read up abit on Black & white. glad i never bought it. it looks real weird.. and too kiddy for me. i think im better off waitin' for fable. but the structure of both games is very similer, the part where you have to choose between good and evil and such. i love stuff like that. but reading acouple reviews on Black and white it looked to stupid to me " be a god.. and choose between.. blah" eh, not my kinda taste.

Black and White was hardly kiddy. Judging a new game based on one of the companies previous games is also quite stupid too, just look at Super Metroid! That was from the company that gave us such atrocities as Zelda and Mario
