Need PS2 games with 2 player

I just bought PS2 a week ago .But I find very little fighting games with 2 player .What I mean is not a fighting game like Tekken 4 but like Dynasty Warrior 4 .Since Dynasty Warrior 4 use split screen when play 2 players ,I don't feel like it .
Can you guys suggest me what other fighting games with 2 players allow ?

You should try Tekken Tag Tournament, it's better than Tekken 4. There's Virtua Fighter 4. I don't like DBZ too much but I've heard this is good, DBZ: Budokai. I'm sure any video game store would have a big selection of PS2 fighting games.

so basically, you want to find a game that has the feel of a streets of rage or final fight?

Dead or Alive 2 and Dead or Alive 2 Hardcore for your eyes only

. I don't know anygame that look like Dynasty Warrior, but surely it's cool. I just played it once.

well, he's trying to avoid tournament fighting games. so DoA and tekken aren't exactly what he's looking for.

There is Bubble Bobble. Or Super Bust-a-Move as its called. Rather fun but gets pretty linear along the way.

Those used to be called beat'em ups. You probably won't find any these days. The last one I liked was Jedi Power Battles on the PS1.
But in August, there'll be remakes of Sega classic games (I know, more remakes...). For beat'em ups you'll find Golden Axe and Streets of Rage.

Hmm...he does mention no fighting games...we suppose he means two player versus or games that allow simultaneous play...the only game we have tried so far that does not use split screen is Contra 4 Shattered Soldier. 2 Player play..no split screen.

Thanks guys but I don't like shooting arcade game like contra either.I want the 2 player game which Takwu says beat'em ups game but unfortunatly that games hard to find .
I hope there will be a good remake on Street of Rage such as graphic from 2D to 3D .
