Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

My, my, my... look at what we finally have in here. The news that we (Shenmue fans ) were all waiting: Shenmue III is finally confirmed, not much is known about the final release date or the platform for it, but hey... at least we know that the saga continues

Sources :Rpgamer and Gamerfeed.

Last but not least, there's going to (finally) be an Out Run 2, I can't say much about this (providing it's new for anyone) upcoming release because the page is in Jp (methinks). In any case here's the link (at least it has some nifty pics) Sega AM2.

Re: Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

Not of much use if you never played the 2 previous games... past rumors pointed that the game would be released on the XBOX.

Now as for Out Run 2, it looks like it could be on any of the 3 systems... Lord of Darkness don't let it be GC-xlusive

Re: Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

Shenmue3 confirmed? Now I'll finally be able to play Shenmue2 without worrying about the continuation. I hope Shenmue goes Sonic's way (multiplateform).

Outrun? Never heard of it.

Re: Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

I can't believe what I'm reading. Some people have never heard of the original Outrun! (hope it's some kind of sarcasm)

And you guys call yourselves "gamers"... *tsk tsk*

Oh I can't wait for Shenmue III. I pray to God it comes for the PS2. I don't wanna buy an XBox or GC just to play a single game.

Re: Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

Well, Out Run is rather old, i don't expect this youngsters around to know it. Out Run is the most classic racing game, i think it's the first racing game i knew and played. Shenmue 3 is great news, but i haven't played the previous ones yet. I had Shenmue 1 on my DC, but never had the time to play it... And now my dc is gone, my bro owns it and we are too far... So i'll have to wait for the emu, too .

Lord of Darkness Out Run was one of the best racing games ever (for its time)... how come ppl don't know nothing about it ?

Fawad as soon as you start playing Shenmue II find the arcade center on the game and start playing it (Lord of Darkness gotta love Shenmue)

Re: Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

OutRun was made by SEGA? I had it for my old C64, but it was a cracked version which didn't want to show me the real developer...

Re: Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

Hey Space Harrier was a classic, when I played Shenmue for the first time and found that the game was included on the arcade corner I achieved the bad ending because I spent months (game time) playing it

Re: Sega-AM2's upcoming jewels

AFAIK it's from Sega, there are plenty of easter eggs on the game proving that point... plus I recall the AM2 logo spining on the right lower corner of the screen on the start up screen...

Yes, you probably remember that because US Gold published the game for the popular home-micros of the late 80's
