So do I need to install the new patch if I am using other Geforce cards? I am guessing not but I am not too sure.

Re: New Silent Hill 2 PC Patch released
Hm... people seem to have had alot of trouble with SH2 PC, but I never have had even one error or lock-up with it. I guess I'm just lucky.

Re: New Silent Hill 2 PC Patch released
I knew about this patch for a long time. When I installed the game I couldn't watch the movie sequences, thanks to my GeForce FX5600 ![]() The only other problem with the game is that you can't use FSAA (a lot of glitches occur if you enable it). But I've read in the "readme" that the game has a built-in FSAA, that's why you can't enable it externally.

Re: New Silent Hill 2 PC Patch released
It's not Nvidia's fault, I suppose. I've read somewhere that they has just left out the newest GeForce FX cards out of their "devices" file. Blame Konami, instead

Re: New Silent Hill 2 PC Patch released
Actually, if you've looked at my fx5900u screenshots thread, I can enabled any FSAA in SH2 pc without any problems. And strangely, the movies are working fine for me without the patch.
