is there any way to find a list of which ps2 games are on cd and which ones are on dvd?

That's almost an impossiblity 'cos some games are released on both, CD and DVD!

just pick one game then check it if it is dvd or cd.

yea just look at the back of the dvd case it says if its a dvd or cd

Your best bet is to go to either a blockbuster or store and check the backs for dvd rom or cd rom. Or yuo can just ask people here who have games.
