Quick ? from here. Is Ultima Online only online or can you play it single player also? I'm a BIG fan of the Ultima series but I don't really care for On-Line playing that much. Thanks for any replies.

i believe its only online, unless you wanna set up a server to play by yourself, if youre a fan of ultima though then i would suggest the ultima mod for morrowind, its still in development but i think its goona be a good mod

there are also several dialog patches for ultima 9 which make the game quite better

Personally, I found online games better because of the interaction with others. Of course there're big lame a$$es that would piss me off, but its not a big deal. And AFAIK, most Online games have their own story line and ending, take Diablo2 as an example.

well, all i know is that the shard servers for the most part are practically all free to play, although some shards are pretty cheesy, say you start out the game with maxed out stats and the best weapons/armor... now what
