I'm not a big Zelda fan but I guess I would prefer WW.

Re: Fav Zelda/Link game in the entire series...

Only Zelda game that I fairly liked was A link to the Past... the others were all sort of boring at some point... OoT was nice because Link finally got an adult form but me thinks that the Snes version was better.

naisatoh...the 64 game; ocarina of time...is the same way...3 stones to turn into an adult then you get like ~7 medallions and then you fight Ganondork

That's the thing, most of the Zelda games falls into something similar (with certain exceptions, such as Link's awakening, the other 2 GB games and TWW) but the rest is always about Link meeting Zelda and the setting out to save the world...

Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my favourite game full stop. Bought it on the release date, played it ever since. I've almost beaten it for a third time on the GC Bonus disk, after which I'll proceed to the Master Quest.

I also love A Link to the Past, one of my favourite SNES games, and Link's Awakening is my favourite original gameboy game. As for the Wind Waker, I found it too short, as it had only four proper dungeons compared to OoT's 8 made lengthier by that sea. Still enjoyable though, especially the dungeons where you could control the other character.

Question

Um GKort, the correct name of Link's enemy in the Ocarina of Time is Ganondorf. Or did you mean Ganondork as a joke? If you did, then sorry for the misunderstanding.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Actually Ganondorf is the boss on 75% of the Zelda titles... that's what I find boring on the game, it's always almost the same tale but on a different scenario...

A Link to the Past for me, cause it's the end of the whole Zelda story Ganon gets killed and everyone's finally happy. Close second is Ocarina of Time, then comes Wind Waker (cool one ^^)

Actually, it's the same story, but in different eras, I mean, each zelda game stars a descendant of the original Link (hero of Ocarina of Time, which is the beginning of the story), Ganon becomes immortal when he gets the Triforce, and Link can only truly restore peace by killing Ganon, not just by sealing him in the Dark World (which he finally does in A Link to the Past). Of course, some Zeldas aren't related at all with the Ganon story, MM is about the young original Link travelling and stumbling upon Skull Kid, Link's Awakening, well, is about the Link from Zelda on SNES travelling to improve his skills, and err, well, no, let's not talk about the CD-I games

Re: Fav Zelda/Link game in the entire series...

Well I also recall a Zelda on the Nes were Link fought his shadow as the final enemy (or close to the final enemy)... as I said it only happens on 75%...

Though I didn't know that Link isn't the same guy on every game... guess I never cared much about Zelda

Re: Fav Zelda/Link game in the entire series...

The best Zelda IMHO is Ocarina of Time...but A Link to the Past is also good, if played on portable like GBA...an imagine playing ALttP in bus or toilet...hihi

OoT and the first Zelda game were the best IMO.
