I don't think this is the most appropriate forum for this question. But anyway I use MEKAW, and it's very good SMS emulator. If you really want DOS then you can get MEKA (it's the DOS version). You can download both here:http://www.zophar.net/sms-gg.html

Um, while I agree that MEKA is "far and away" the best SMS emulator out there. AFIK there is no MEKAW and no MEKA dos version, there is only MEKA and it works equally well in DOS or Windows (even w/WIN XP Pro). It is mainly written by Omar Cornut "Bock" and it plays Coleco Vison games as well. It's homepage is located at www.smspower.org/meka/ There you will find the latest version available for download.

i normally use Kega for SMS and Gamegear...but i wish it had full screen...does Meka?

well i'm not really gonna worry about it because i only have 1 game gear came......and its not that good so im just gonna stick with Gens and Kega for all my sega games...

only one game gear? i guess you haven't played the fun that is those x-men games. okay, they're not all that fun, but they're x-men!!

Sorry Boltzmann, I stand corrected. But if you are still using Kega N1ghtw0lf then I would suggest that you try Lazarus. Lazarus is the new completely redone version of Kega and it is still written by Steven Snake (author of Kega). Lazarus emulates Genesis, Sega CD, SMS and GG perfectly. It runs in full screen (if you want it to) and contains lots of options so that you can set it up exactally as you'd like. The only thing that is required is the bios to run the Sega CD. I use it exclusively for all my Genesis, Sega CD, SMS and GG games. I even perfer it, now, over GENS which used to be my favorite.

i have lazarus...but i thought that was still kega? on a few of my games i get some error for being for some other sega console even though they are genesis...

...sonic chaos is the only one i have...and it was just another sonic game...i ahve more games...just not on my computer...they are the cartridges in my closet and i dont even remember which ones ...i only remembered sonic
