Diablo II v1.10 BETA PATCH RELEASED !!

PI is removed from normal monsters in hell .. alot more nice stuff .

This patch is SINGLE PLAYER only ! or TCP/IP for multiplayer , but no Battle.net access is allowed while 1.10 Beta is installed . there is a batch file to revert back to 1.09 though ..

Some more goodies - no more backseat leeching , proximity checks have been added . also , Magic find no longer works on some superuniques like pindleskin etc .. and magic find drops from game to game in the same 'session' - no more 1000000 mephisto runs .

they should just take out MF all together. but i'm going to try and see if any of my old characters suddenly got stronger

Hi there I can see on Bnet official forum that peeps are talking of lvl 80+ chars already !!! So I wonder how is it possible ( I mean in 1.10 version )

I'm at bloody work right now and plan to download patch as soon as I get home and it would save me plenty of time to have already build chars and stuff =)
So is there a place when one could download high lvl chars for single player or something. And if not how do these people do it ?

Any help would be appreciated!

Yea , i hope for Battle.net final patch soon .. i just found out TCP/IP isnt really fun with 1600+ ping (not LAN , but a real remote IP game) ..

..while I never played Diablo 2 & its expansion as much as the original, the release of the 1.10 patch is a good "excuse" for me to dig up my D2 cds and play some more
I don't know if I'll ever be able to participate in an NGemu marathon, but I'm still very happy about this news (which should be in the game discussion forum, btw ).

i think i've found 1 bug already and a possible bug, note the pictures
1st one: blessed hammer seems to be doing quite a bit more damage. an thats without maxing out one of the supporting skills. i kind of hope they meant to do this.
2nd one: theres a shadow of an imp but the imp is invisible. i guess thats one of the special abilities they get

heck ya, throw in another 300% damage (not including extra levels from items) and its a monster of a skill. assuming you don't have trouble actually hitting them with it. there is a cool new sound effect for the hammers though.
my barbarian is dead though. there is now a whirlwind spin delay. basically, a casting delay. no more constant whirlwinding.

one things for sure, it definetly is harder. i just hope they haven't forgotten that some people still play all by themselves and this might be a little much to handle alone.
