Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

Here I am, unable to sleep. I had an unexplained urge to install Shadows of the Empire, of which the original N64 version was largely responsible for spawning the much more successful Rogue Squadron series.

Having put off to read the latest LucasArts Insider, I went to the LucasArts website, and was in for very very nice surprise.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike will be coming this fall to help out the GameCube, which disperately needs it. Some of the stuff:
- Multiplayer mode for the entire Rogue Leader game, in addition to all new missions of course
- More "crafts" to pilot: AT-ST, Swoopbike, Taun Taun!
- A bit of 3rd person shooting wouldn't hurt either
- Improved graphics (check out the Endor forest)
- Ability to run on the Hoth snow ground and shoot a grappling hook onto the underbelly of a freaking AT-AT and then slice it open with the lightsaber so you can throw a detonator inside and blow the whole mother*****er up, Skywalker style.

I thought Rouge Squadron: Rogue Leader 2 was just a bit too diffcult. I absoleutly love Shadows of the Empire on the N64. I didn't even know there was a PC version.
