Yet another street fighter. I just hope it has the graphics of third strike and that kind of gameplay.

I really hope Capcom makes a DC vs. Marvel vs. Capcom. That would definetly rock. I would kill anyone with a team of Joker, Gambit, and Cammy.

Well, if they can create a Street Fighter game that tops SFA3 then they'll have me sold. The crossover series have gotten kind of old though.

Yes and the worst happened when i played marvel vs capcom. Megaman was really annoying. Atleast in mvsc 2 they repaired a lot of errors in the gameplay. In the first one i couldn't understand what was happening a lot of times...

oh! did anyone in the interview get to ask if its supposed to be Mega Man, as opposed to Megaman?

i wish they'd make more Marvel only fighters. i couldn't care less about the Capcom fighters.
with so many x-men movies coming out, they should make X-Men COTA 2 or something.

Yes and they can include Nightcrawler in it. I wish MvsC2 had Nightcrawler in it but I can't complain because it had quite a lot of X-Men and had a better Darkstalkers selection than Capcom vs. SNK 2.

Yeah and it has a better single-player than Capcom vs. SNK 2. You only get about 10 or 15 characters too to start in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and you have to earn the rest of the characters. This may sound like a lot of work but it makes the single-player a lot more fun. Capcom vs. SNK 2 gives you everything from the start. That's good for playing against someone else but that makes single-player a little boring.

Really? Admittedly a few too many characters were avaliable at the start (Evil Ryu and Evil Iori should have been unlockable), but Ultra Rugal and Shin Gouki were unlockable. I had great fun unlockign the extra stuff like the boss battle mode, the extra options and the special grooves. The gameplay of MvC2 is worse ovarall anyway IMO. It's too flashy with too little substance.

How do you unlock the extra stuff? I assumed it gave you everything at the beginning because there's no price mode in CvsS2 like there was in the first.

speculation is the key to.. um.. somethingorother

as for unlocking things in fighters, most of the time thats the only thing that keeps me playing. one counter example would be DoA1 which wasn't good enough to play over and over unlocking the different costumes.

Well when you defeat Shin Gouki or Ult Rugal it unlocks the boss battle and those two charaters IIRC.... It might be that you need to finish it with a certain amount of points, but hey. The Extra options mode is unlocked by completing boss battle mode. The extra groove is unlocked by completing all survival mode.

Sometimes not. As I unlocked Master and Uranus from Toshinden 2 the following fight felt strange because all of the mysterious of the characters were gone. But maybe its just me. On the other hand, it would make me go crazy not to be able to get them.

Yeah, the same happens to me. I played tekken 3 and Capcom vs snk alike crazy for 4 weeks, but then it was not the same. Maybe a reason its enough to play it although you know the game very well. But i remember i played street fighter 2 for 3 years every single day without losing a single round. Now thats crazy.
