Exclamation Action PSX games to recommend

Now that PSX games are dirt cheap, I am looking to get some action PSX games. (No RPG games, I already have enough.)

Can you guys recommend me some action PSX games.

Is Tenchu or Tenchu 2 a good buy?

You may try Nuclear Dawn as well. Do I have to suggest Metal Gear Solid?

Silent Bomber - very fast and very hard, but fun

Omega Boost, Colony Wars Red Sun (3D space shooters).
Syphon Filter I and II (third person shooters)
Driver I and II (reckless driving, persecutions, kinda like GTA3, but obviously with worse graphics)
And Tenchu is excellent... I don't know about Tenchu 2 but the fist one is awesome.

Gauntlet Legends, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and the Spyro the Dragon series are all good.

IIRC Tenchu is a stealth game and there's not much action on stealthing.... just boredom

Anyway, I recommend you Gekido, Colony Wars: Red Sun. Gauntlet Legends, Spiderman (the 1st one, awesome game!), Warriors of Might and Magic, Medal of Honor: Underground, Fighting Force (the 1st one), Bruce Willy's Apocalypse...

Sxamiga, I guess that Spyro is a bit too much Jump'n'Run...

Afraid I don't have anything new to add since this isn't one of my favorite psx genres. My only real advice is to avoid Soulreaver unless it's under $5, I found the game to be disgustingly easy. Not bad just easy.

MGS
Omega Boost (hard to get used to, but once you do, very fun)

F-3582, Spyro is indeed jump and run, but it is action all the way. Flying, fire breathing, solving puzzles, sounds like an action game to me.
