for any fans out there of the original, a sequel is in the works for... 2004? slow bastards...
well, i guess they realized the game itself was crap so they're skipping the option to make an expansion since nobody gives a damn about the game itself, and people only care about the engine, which ain't half bad.
and, as i've just noticed, due to the fact that i can't ever remember if its "sei" or "sie", microsoft made it easy for me and has both website addresses bought out. thank you MS!

unless of course the word "siege" can be written both ways.
anywho, theres the news that will make your day all better. uh huh...

Thanks for the news Exodus. This one will be a "must get" for me since I have the original and I "gasp:eek: " like it. I always have and I always will. I never did understand what everyone had against Dungeon Siege anyhow.

DS was a good game for a DC (Dungeon Crawler), it mixed ingredients from both DC and standard RPGs (like the pause action). It wasn't bad, but not even near as good as the almighty Diablo II/LoD... though i loved the fact that it featured no loading times (in exchange for the sacrifice of your HD, of course

)...

The sequel may be worth a shot, specially if they take care of some of the issues of the first one.

Never really like it. But it is fun in the beginning. You can be whatever you wanted to but thats it. Nothing more. I got tired played it to the end. But if there is no game for e to play, i think i happily played it again. Confusing, isn't it?

I don't like to play diablo single player, but I like to play the multiplayer or online in diablo2 but in dungeon siege I play single player more often than multiplayer.

Diablo II features much more lasting appealing not just because of the endless quantities of treasures but also features a much more complex character's skill development... the skill tree is more interesting than the class change of DS...

no offense to all diablo fans,but i never did play diablo much,jst up to level7(my charcter)i think.yes it has the diff classes and huge selection of weapns and such,but the game is monotonous for me.just as n1ghtwolf said..click and click.not much strategy invlved..like sneaking behind enemies andsuch.
take fallout2 for exmple(although 2 diff game),u have quests where nid to find somethin or convince some1 or talk to some1 and get an item from that guy to gain his favor,things like that. diablo,well,ujust levelup, find strong weapons,kill diablo...his father...and everone else. no plots. important NPC's dont move,they just give u quests.and theres only one way to do these...kill. not mch dialogue. but the fmv's are awesome.ofcors i could be wrong about these things coz i ddnt play it much.and its just an opinion.but ive seen lots of ppl plyin it.

Comparing Fallout 2 with DII is like comparing Pacman with Sonic Adventure... one is a RPG and the other is a Dungeon Crawler...
Most DC aren't about a story or a plot (DII may be the best DC for featuring a weak plot the others just don't feature one) they are about killing countless hordes of enemies and getting better treasures...

They aren't fun ? Maybe, until you get online with a few persons and start playing nocturnal marathons

how can u say that DII had a weak plot?!?! "u have done well merius however i am not the archangel teriel" i had goose bumps for a week from that sentence. yes it had a weaker plot then most blizzard games but it still had enough to keep u intrested and give u a purpose.
