Metroid Prime or Metroid Fusion?
I've finished Fusion and am about halfway through Prime. I've enjoyed both games quite a bit. To those of you who have played both, which do you think is the best? Things that I love about Fusion: - Computer narrative, Samus's introspective elevator scenes - X-parasites forming new beasts - at least a slight variation on the usual about Prime - data logs are neat - a nice maturing in the narrative - Ocarina-of-time style pre-boss-fight movies are wonderful For me, it's a toss-up at this point; both are great. The sheer polish of Prime steers me to favor it right now. |

They are both very good quality titles ( IMO ) as far as which is better, I think everyone would say that its going to be subjective. I personaly enjoy fusion better, this is because I am still in love with the idea that I am getting new but classic style 2d games for a new console ( even if its handheld but emus exist and soon it will legaly be on da big screen ). I just like fusion better, gives me that warm feeling of playing SM again ![]() All that matters is people enjoy them anyway.

Coulda Made a Poll About This... I liked Fusion because it stuck with its side-scrolling glory and didn't put the down the rest of the series...it stayed interesting the whole way through and there were even parts where i was freaked out (mainly when i had to run from that evil samus)...and it was probably my favorite GBA game so far... Haven't Played Prime all the way through because i don't have a gamecube but me and my friend play it at his house and i am impressed by everything about it...but i really prefer fusion...

Fusion as it's a game that I can play for more than 10 minutes without feeling how much superior Super Metroid was.

probably because I never could get into Super Metroid, but I prefer Prime. I got used to metroid as it was in prime, so afterward, I didn't like fusion as much. I have yet to finish fusion.
