x-men for Genesis: any1 kno wat the hell is up with level5?

<see subject>. I've decided to get back to my roots, via Gens for Genesis, (since my PC sucks, and i wouldn't be able to find the physical systems/cartridges somewhere in my garage anyways)

as a reminder for those of u who've played this a LONG time ago:
level5 in this game is some "time-crunch" theme level with fire pillars and other traps.
U fight Mojo at the end. and wen u beat him, you're supposed to go to the end of the level, destroy the holodeck computer terminal and ...."actually reset your genesis"?, i've tried that, but it takes me back to the title screen, in which i end up back to level 1 when i restart.

Any1 know wat the heck we're supposed to do to move on to level6 (magneto's level)? I suppose i could learn to use game genie (I've tried DL-ing the set of codes from a .pat file and activiating them, but still nothing, if some1 has any suggestions for this, that'd also be nice). But im actually quite curious to see what the real solution should be.

Don't do a hard reset by pressing 'tab'.. Do a soft reset using the 'cpu' menu and choosing the 'reset 68000' option.. The original xmen cart also did this.. It didn't totally reset the system, but only reset the game while saving game data in ram and a flag.. Strange i know..

man i remember that from the genesis days. I was so freaked out to reset the machine since it took a buddy and me a while to get there. I think we just left the genesis on hoping it was sumthing with the storyline, but I don't think we ever reset it.

Later, when I got to the same place by myself, I was amused and actually reset the genesis. I was so surprised it actually worked.

Yeah, I'm slow like that...
