Could you post a screen of the video options of the game? Try lowering or turning off AF&FSAA.

I've heard that it is supposed to be quite good. The level of detail that you are supposed to be able to get down to is amazing.
sincerely,

It's memory limited more than anything else. 512 isn't even enough.....

It's working perfectly on mine...haven't had a hitch besides the AA thing...and the main things you can build get old but the more people you get the more stuff your residents reward you with and there are like 30 rewards so it stays pretty fun...but like i said i got it like $20 off on sale so i didn't care wether i liked it or not because i could still sell it to one of my friends for 40 and make a profit of $10 and theyd be getting $10 bucks off...but that has nothin to do with this conversation...Yes it's stil fun after one day ...try back in a few

I liked simcity2000 and how you could cheat and build an awesome city, then export it and play it in SimCopter

in order to run just fine with 256 on ram
you have to get the latest patch for it, that's it.
and it will just run fine your ti4200 ....

as far as simcity games, it is the hardest. it took me almost a month to figure out the right zoning ratio. Its just a shame that the game is poorly designed.
